Thomas George Cooke

Tom was born in Geraldton, in Northern Ontario, and spent his formative years in the north. He went to High School in Timmins, Ontario, where he spent three summers working underground in the mines. He left the north to attend the University of Toronto, and, while he thought he might return to the north to practice law, he never did. Tom’s wife may have had something to do with this! Tom and his wife have raised three children in Georgina, all of them attending local Public and High schools. Tom has practiced law in Keswick since 1986 - 36 years and counting! His practice focuses on four main areas: Real Estate Law, focusing on residential purchases, sales and refinances; Wills and Powers of Attorney, where his interest in tax rules and investments serves his clients’ interests well; Criminal Defence work, where his experience includes 11 years as a Prosecutor for the Government of Canada; and Estate Administration.

Shana Nobari

Shana was called to the Ontario Bar in 2023. She graduated with distinction from York University, with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology. Shana received her Bachelor of Laws (Juris Doctor Pathway) from University of Leicester. She then continued her legal education studying the Global Professional Master of Laws (GPLLM) at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law. She is active and knowledgeable in all areas of the firm’s practice.

Carol

Carol graduated from the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario and has been a practicing law clerk for over thirty years. She is active and knowledgeable in all areas of the firm’s practice.

Tabatha

Tabatha graduated from Georgian College in 2020. She is active and knowledgeable in all areas of the firm’s practice.
